Michelle completes SHRM Global Learning System

Michelle Gibbon, Staffing Coordinator at SteppingStones Recruitment, is delighted to have successfully completed a three-month Executive Training course through SHRM, held at the local University College of the Cayman Islands.

The course ran from September through to the end of November, and covered Global HR topics such as Strategic HR Management, Global Talent Acquisition & Mobility, Global Compensation & Benefits, Organizational Effectiveness & Talent Development, and Workforce Relations & Risk Management.  The course prepared students to sit the GPHR (Global Professional in Human Resources) Certification Exam.

Students were asked to complete an online Pre-Test before starting the course, and then a Post-Test once the course was completed, in order to assess their progress and how much they learned. Michelle was thrilled to receive a mark of 100% on this test, and was presented with a Certificate of Achievement from SHRM for “successfully demonstrating skills and knowledge required of professionals in the Human Resources field as measured by the Society for Human Resource Management’s Global Learning System.”

Michelle proudly displays her certificate in front of our office Christmas tree, as she can now put away the study materials and start getting excited about the Christmas holidays.
