Operations Manager - Warehouse
Description
Organizing incoming inventory for receiving inclusive of quality and quantity verifications will be a huge part of this role and you will have daily communication with the CEO as well consistent communication with the Sales and Inventory Managers.
What you’ll do
- Organize and map out product locations in warehouse
- Manage receiving and order pulling of warehouse goods
- Manage stock control and reconcile with data storage system
- Communicate daily with CEO as well as consistent weekly communication with the Sales and Inventory Managers
- Ensure physical condition of the warehouse
- Assist in warehouse recruitment, evaluations, and work rotas
- Attend daily/weekly company meetings
What you’ll bring
- 3 years previous experience of warehouse management and processes
- Bachelors degree in any related discipline
- Valid and clean driver’s license (Group 3)
- Ability to stock warehouse shelves with fork lift, man lift machine, and/or pallet lift
- Experience using Point of Sale/ Ordering system: Counterpoint
- Excel in the daily use of Microsoft Office programs: Outlook, Excel, Word
- Clean police record
Who you’ll be
- Someone with the ability to stand, push/pull, climb, stoop, bend, and kneel for extended periods
- Able to work in a non-air-conditioned warehouse
- Punctual and reliable in terms of attendance; you are comfortable working independently
- Able to adapt to changing situations, new tasks and priorities as changes occur; you will encounter challenges and resolve them by yourself
- Able to be part of a team that relies on one another to build professional relationships and attend to customer needs
- Able to work daily shifts of 8 hours and the occasional Saturday
