Vice President, Infrastructure
Description
Responsible for overseeing the efficient and effective delivery of technology services within a regional scope. The role requires managing daily operations, incorporating technology projects into business-as-usual (BAU) processes, and ensuring that technology services are delivered according to established budgets and performance metrics. As a key figure in the organization’s technology strategy, this position focuses on maintaining high standards in infrastructure management, ensuring compliance, and optimizing service delivery across internal teams and outsourced providers.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operation and delivery of technology services across the region, ensuring alignment with set goals, budgets, and KPIs.
- Lead a team of technical professionals, ensuring resources are effectively managed to meet both business and technology objectives.
- Maintain and enforce technology policies and procedures, including those governing outsourced architecture, security, disaster recovery, and technology standards.
- Work closely with business leads, change management, and vendor management to assess and guide technology proposals, business cases, and cost/benefit analyses.
- Ensure proper documentation is maintained for current and proposed technology systems and infrastructure.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to ensure alignment with corporate goals and compliance with regulatory standards, while staying current with evolving industry trends.
- Monitor and control technology service delivery across the region, including managing relationships with third-party providers and vendors.
- Act as a senior technology leader within the organization, helping to shape long-term strategic direction and manage critical infrastructure.
- Support the development, testing, and execution of disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
Requirements:
- At least seven years of experience in an infrastructure management role, with proven leadership in managing technology teams and operations.
- Strong ability to oversee complex projects and ensure alignment with organizational goals and budgets.
- Expertise in cloud architecture, network management, data centers, and IT risk controls, with a solid understanding of relevant legislation (e.g., SOX, data protection).
- Experience in managing the full lifecycle of technology services, including the integration of new systems and processes into existing infrastructures.
- A proven track record of successful change management, with the ability to adapt to shifting priorities while maintaining high performance.
- Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, particularly in liaising with stakeholders and vendors.
- Strong understanding of disaster recovery and business continuity planning, including testing and maintaining continuity of services.
- High level of discretion when handling sensitive information and the ability to operate in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
