Senior Data Engineer

SteppingStones are delighted to be partnering with a leading organization in the Cayman Islands who have an urgent requirement for a Senior Data Engineer to join their team. This is a lead role, taking responsibility for the design, development, implementation and maintenance of the organization’s database and reporting structure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop the overall data management and business intelligence strategy whilst managing several database and BI related projects at one time.
• Define and build data models using SQL, Dataverse, SharePoint and other data sources.
• Build complex power platform workflows to be deployed across several channels.
• Develop D365 reports and design, develop and support Power Automate and Power Apps.
• Work with key stakeholders to identify trends and build visually appealing reports/dashboards within Power Platform.

Key Experience/Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree in Management Information Systems or Similar.
• 7+ years+ experience working as a Senior DBA or Data Engineer.
• Expert knowledge of database design, SQL querying, indexing, scripting, ETL and report optimization.
• Extensive experience with Microsoft Power Platform solutions, Dataverse, Azure, M365/D365.
• Strong technical document writing & critical thinking skills.
• MS Certifications preferred.
