Paralegal - Contract

SteppingStones is working with one of the largest employers in the Cayman Islands to assist them in sourcing a Paralegal to join their team for a contracted role. 

Responsibilities:

• Conduct legal research and analysis pertaining to Cayman Islands Acts and legal framework.
• Provide comprehensive summaries and recommendations based on findings.
• Draft and prepare legal documents with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Maintain confidentiality while handling sensitive materials and legal matters.
• Liaise professionally with internal departments and external parties.
• Manage multiple tasks, prioritize assignments, and meet deadlines consistently.
• Collaborate effectively with legal team members to support case preparations and strategies.

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Laws degree or equivalent legal qualification.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a legal environment in the Cayman Islands.
• Extensive knowledge of Cayman Islands Acts and legal procedures.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to make sound legal recommendations.
• Proficiency in legal research methods and resources.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
