SteppingStones is working on behalf of our client to assist them in sourcing an experienced and visionary Managing Director to lead their esteemed organization. Reporting directly to the Board, the Managing Director will oversee all aspects of leadership, operations, marketing, budgeting, and financial management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic leadership and vision in alignment with their mission.
• Cultivate a culture of excellence and professional development within the organization.
• Drive fundraising initiatives and foster a culture of fundraising within the team and board.
• Manage all financial aspects, ensuring careful budget management and adherence to policies.
• Oversee human resources functions, including recruitment, management, and development.
• Ensure all operations, policies, and facilities are safe, adequate, and legally compliant.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders in the creative, political, and business sectors.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and legislation.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Arts Management, Business Administration, Accounting, HR Management, or a related field (post-graduate degree preferred).
• 10+ years of experience in a similar role, including 5+ years in a management position.
• Experience in non-profit, charity, or cultural organizations.
• Knowledge of relevant legislation and government policies in the Cayman Islands.
• Proficiency in MS Office, HRIS (BambooHR), Quickbooks, and database management.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
