Litigation Support Specialist
Description
This role offers an exceptional opportunity to contribute to high-profile disputes and investigations across financial products and services litigation, insolvency, offshore trusts, asset recovery, and regulatory investigations.
What you’ll do
- Organize and maintain electronic case files.
- Prepare documents for court proceedings and filings.
- Develop and implement efficient organization systems on case teams.
- Manage the production and receipt of case documents during discovery proceedings.
- Review and analyze primary and legal documents.
- Prepare court, attorney, and client bundles.
- Assist with pre-hearing and pre-trial materials.
- Coordinate with courts and other entities for service of documents.
- Collaborate with external vendors.
- Maintain litigation calendars, organize meetings, and manage communications.
- Support office administrative tasks and operations as needed.
What you’ll bring
- 5–7 years of litigation experience, preferably within the Cayman Islands or similar offshore jurisdictions.
- Strong legal research, drafting, and case management skills.
- Deep understanding of Cayman Islands legal procedures.
- Extensive experience in preparing court bundles, drafting legal documents, and filing and serving documents in line with Cayman Islands court procedures.
- Certification or experience with legal costs is highly preferred.
- Excellent teamwork, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Language skills in Spanish, Italian, Mandarin, or Korean are a plus but not required.
