Lawyer

Description

Our client, a busy public services authority, is recruiting for a qualified lawyer to assist them with a short-term project. This contract role is a fantastic opportunity for an on island lawyer looking to gain exposure to a broad range of legal work as part of a dynamic and highly regarded organisation. 

Key duties and responsibilities:

• Legal research
• Drafting
• Reviewing and responding to legal documents and requests
• Legal advice on a broad range of matters
• Presenting and making recommendations to senior team members and stakeholders

Qualifications & Experience

• Qualified attorney, admitted or eligible to be admitted to practise in the Cayman Islands
• Public sector experience is highly desirable
• Strong academics
• Sound judgement and an ability to present advice and ideas clearly and effectively
• Ability to work as part of a team
• A positive, proactive attitude
