IT Manager

Description

The IT Manager will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the performance of the company’s IT infrastructure, by ensuring cybersecurity standards are maintained, managing IT services, supporting disaster recovery planning, and leading a team of IT professionals. The position requires a strong understanding of technology management, vendor relations, and the ability to align IT initiatives with broader organizational goals. 

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the reliability, performance, and availability of IT infrastructure.
  • Supervise IT service management, focusing on incident, change, and problem management processes.
  • Lead IT support teams, ensuring high levels of end-user satisfaction.
  • Identify and monitor risks across various infrastructure layers and report findings to relevant stakeholders.
  • Maintain compliance with cybersecurity standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and implement IT policies and frameworks aligned with strategic objectives.
  • Oversee data backup processes and disaster recovery strategies.
  • Manage virus protection, patch management, and access control protocols.
  • Track IT inventory and provide recommendations on software renewals and optimizations.
  • Research and implement new technologies that align with business needs and goals.
  • Manage and develop the IT team through recruitment, training, and performance management.
  • Foster strong relationships with technology vendors and service providers.
  • Conduct performance reviews, support employee development, and manage corrective actions when needed.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field 
  • 5+ years of experience in Information Technology, with minimum 3 years in a senior or supervisory role.
  • Professional certifications such as CRISC, CISSP, Microsoft Server, VMware, and ITIL are preferred.
  • In-depth knowledge of financial records management, cybersecurity, risk management, and data protection practices.
  • Expertise in infrastructure management, patch management, and disaster recovery.
  • Experience with tools such as Power BI, Mitel PBX, ATMs, VMWare, Veeam, SQL Server, and MS Office applications.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication, decision-making, and leadership abilities.
