IT Business Innovation Manager

Description

We are seeking an IT Business Innovation Manager to join our Client’s Information Technology team, reporting directly into the Senior Manager for IT Business Services.

The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and developing innovative technology solutions that address business problems, enhance business insights and decision-making capabilities, and /or increases business efficiency. This person will work with a team of business analysts, Software Developers, Science & Data Engineers. Main Responsibilities:

• Identify and solve complex business problems, aligning solutions to organizational strategy
• Manage project portfolio and lead project teams to deliver value through the ideation, planning, design, development, and deployment of business solutions which expand automation, business intelligence, and improve business efficiency
• Work with data & analytics, software development, information security, and data privacy teams to ensure that all solutions are compliant with expected security standards.
• Lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of standardized reporting of business performance across the various companies and manage the quality of data provided.
• Develop effective business intelligence processes, strategies, and analytics solutions
• Lead the design and implementation of systems, and solutions to transform raw data into actionable business insight

Experience & Skills required:

•   A Bachelor’s degree in Business or TechnologyA PMP or similar project management qualification or equivalent PM experience
• Certification in Innovation Management or similar is highly desirable
• 10 years’ experience in a similar role or as a senior program manager with a minimum of 5 years’ experience leading a full lifecycle software development environment
• Proven experience implementing custom developed solutions that integrate with large scale business software solutions such as ERP, CRM, HRMS, ECM etc.
• Strong knowledge with a variety of technologies such as Azure DevOps, SQL, SSRS, Power BI, and Microsoft Power Platform technologies
• Experience interfacing with IT professionals and vendors to take new technology or data architecture from concept to production
• Strong awareness of privacy and data security regulations & considerations
• Strong leadership skills & the ability to influence others

 
This role will be based onsite in Cayman Islands. Open to overseas candidates willing to relocate.
