HR Business Partner

Description

This role will ensure alignment between HR strategies and business needs, oversee payroll, employee engagement, and performance reviews, and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

What you’ll do

  • Provide HR support to financial entities in the Cayman Islands
  • Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies
  • Manage recruitment activities, including work permits and onboarding
  • Partner with business leaders to align HR strategies with company goals
  • Oversee employee performance reviews and disciplinary procedures
  • Administer payroll, HR Management System (HRplus), and employee benefits
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, audits, and labor laws
  • Execute activities related to employee engagement, training, and salary reviews
  • Maintain accurate leave records and manage employee communications
  • Support succession planning and employee satisfaction initiatives

What you’ll bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • 3+ years’ experience in Human Resources
  • HR certification and financial industry experience are assets
  • Knowledge of HRplus software is a plus
  • Strong knowledge of labor laws
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
  • Critical thinking and analytical skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills to manage diverse personalities and build rapport quickly
