Head of Corporate, Private & Premium Banking
Description
Reporting to the President & CEO, the role will be responsible for identifying and developing new product lines while maintaining and growing the client base.
What you’ll do
- Develop and execute strategies to grow private, premium, and corporate banking
- Market and sell banking products according to approved sales strategies
- Set and manage sales, productivity, and service targets
- Report on sales performance, including lead lists, new sales, and client retention
- Build and maintain strong client and networking relationships through Zoho CRM
- Oversee internal referrals and direct marketing efforts to attract new business
- Implement efficient controls and procedures to optimize resource use
- Resolve internal and external complaints and issues promptly
- Mentor, train, and lead employees to ensure a high standard of client service and compliance
- Ensure adherence to regulatory and audit standards
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s in Business Administration, Sales & Marketing, or equivalent
- 10+ years of B2B sales leadership experience
- Strong network within the Cayman corporate and HNW sectors
- Knowledge of anti-money laundering, proliferation financing, and CFT regulations
- 7+ years in the banking sector with experience selling products like mortgages, loans, trade finance, and deposit accounts
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent sales leadership, client service, and mentoring abilities
- Effective implementation of strategic plans to maximize shareholder returns
- Maintain professional knowledge through workshops and publications
- Ensure confidentiality, high productivity, and low turnover within the team
- Proficiency in CRM systems, computer applications, and sales incentive structures
- Strong selling, public speaking, and event organization skills
- Excellent planning, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
- Strong negotiating skills and attention to detail
- Proven ability to lead, mentor, and motivate teams
- Analytical mindset with excellent time management and communication skills
