As a Graduate Buyer, you will play a pivotal role in optimizing costs, streamlining supplies, and enhancing overall value for the Corporation while managing associated risks. This role involves developing and executing global category strategies, leading negotiations, and coordinating strategy execution activities.

About the role
We are seeking a dynamic individual, ideally a recent Caymanian university graduate, to join our team as an Associate Buyer. Based in George Town, Grand Cayman, this full-time role involves managing sourcing activities, negotiating contracts, and cultivating supplier relationships to optimize costs and ensure quality and availability of goods. You will get the chance to collaborate with teams globally, supporting the development and implementation of procurement strategies.

What you’ll bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, or a related field.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and develop and execute sourcing strategies.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Power BI, and procurement software systems such as SAP.
• Knowledge of market trends, pricing, and supplier management.
• Attention to detail with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience in procurement or supply chain management is preferred but not mandatory.
