Financial Analyst
Description
Opportunity for a Financial / Process Analyst to join a banking institution in Cayman Islands.
Responsibilities:
- Document and Improve Procedures: Record and review current procedures for system data entry and document management, identifying areas for improvement to boost stakeholder clarity and operational efficiency.
- Analyze and Rectify Data Gaps: Conduct detailed analyses of system data, identifying gaps and inaccuracies to enhance the overall process performance.
- Support Process Mapping and Documentation: Assist in creating process maps, action plans, and other documentation that clearly represent both current and proposed system workflows.
- Collaborate on System Improvements: Work closely with project owners to implement system enhancements, track project progress, and support data cleansing initiatives, contributing directly to the achievement of KPIs and overall project success.
- Review and Validate AML/KYC Data: Ensure that Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Know Your Customer (KYC) data is complete, accurate, and valid within the newly migrated financial system.
- Standardize Client Data Processes: Develop and implement standardized processes for maintaining client data and document naming conventions, ensuring consistency across the system.
- Reconcile Client Data: Perform reconciliation of client information against external sources to identify duplications, closures, and inaccuracies resulting from the migration exercise.
- Analyze Client Relationships: Evaluate client relationships and entity linkages to confirm correct categorization.
- Conduct Sample Testing and Query Generation: Execute sample testing and create queries within the financial system to support data accuracy and integrity.
Requirements:
- 3+ years experience as an Analyst in Financial Services industry
- A bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, business, or a related field
- Experience with process mapping and documentation
