Chief Financial Officer

Opportunity for a CFO to join a leading banking institution who provide comprehensive banking services to the asset management industry. 

CFO must have a comprehensive understanding of all areas of financial management, including investment strategies and banking operations. The ideal candidate should be a strong leader and communicator, responsible for presenting financial plans and updates to the board and executive team.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Oversee the company’s financial planning, budgeting, and transfer pricing initiatives.
• Lead and manage the finance team.
• Conduct risk assessments by reviewing the company’s liabilities and investment portfolio.
• Ensure adherence to accounting standards, legal regulations, and internal policies.
• Recommend investment strategies that account for cash flow and liquidity risks while meeting regulatory requirements.
• Manage and assess the company’s cash flow, capital structure, and fundraising strategies.
• Provide accurate and timely financial reports and forecasts to guide strategic decision-making.
• Oversee the finance IT systems to ensure they remain relevant and efficient.
• Establish and monitor financial KPIs, ensuring they align with the company’s overall goals.
• Maintain and manage relationships with key financial vendors.

Education & Experience required:

• Proven track record as a CFO, finance officer, or in a similar position (experience in banking institutions is preferred).
• BSc/BA in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; MSc/MBA is an advantage.
• CPA certification required.
• Extensive knowledge of corporate financial regulations, banking operations, and risk management.
• Experience with CIMA capital adequacy, liquidity requirements, and reporting standards.
• Strong expertise in financial data analysis and forecasting techniques, must have an analytical mind
• Proficient in financial management software
• Excellent leadership and organizational skills.
