Are you a dedicated ‘Senior Accountant’ with significant experience in Insurance or Financial Services?

Our client, a global financial services firm, are hiring a Financial regulatory expert at the Senior Accountant level to join their busy and motivated Finance team! With a competitive base salary and great benefits package, this is a brilliant opportunity to become part of a dynamic team.

You will be responsible for:

• Enhance and perform essential accounting reporting, budgeting, regulatory filings and quarterly management accounts.
• Effectively reporting whilst adhering to IFRS regulations, completing peer reviews, handling client cash, debtors’ control and monthly management accounts’ reports.
• Support and liaise with external auditors, banks, regulators and investors to effectively manage clients and support extensive audit reviews.
• Periodic reviews, preparation of financial statements, including analysis and updating documentation.

Ideally you will be or have …

• A qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, CA, ACA, CPA, ACMA) with at least 3 years’ Finance experience in a similar financial services environment.
• Captive Insurance experience and operating knowledge of US GAPP is a MUST HAVE requirement.
• Solid technical finance expert with fantastic management accounting experience.
• Strong stakeholder management and relationship building skills with those at all levels, including non-finance professionals, across the business.
• Experience of working to tight deadlines, managing relevant projects, making sound well-reasoned decisions and performing in-depth monthly reports and analysis.
