Tickled Pink for Breast Cancer
On Friday 12th October, SteppingStones participated in the “dress pink” day in aid of Breast Cancer awareness. The entire office donned their most glamorous pink attire and spent the whole day trying to exercise their most ‘pink’ attitudes.
In addition to our internal dress code, we invited members of our temporary team to wear pink for the day and providing we received photographic evidence, SteppingStones have made a donation per individual.
Combine this with our internal staff digging deep in their pockets for the privilege of wearing pink, and homemade cupcakes being sold at $2 a go, we raised a grand total of (drum roll please……) CI$411.
This contribution has now been handed over to the Lions Club of Tropical Gardens and we hope it will go some way to making a difference in the ongoing research and battle to fight this life changing disease.
From all of us at SteppingStones a huge thank you must go to our temporary team for entering into the spirit of the day, and of course to the Lions Club for their tireless support of the charity.
