Office Manager - London

Our client, a reputable Professional Services Firm with an international presence, is seeking an Office Manager for their London office. Are you a highly-motivated, driven and detail-orientated candidate who has a proven track record in office management and a good legal/ financial services understanding? The opportunity;

  • Responsible for a diverse range of responsibilities from Office Services, Executive Assistance, Policies & Procedures, HR, Business Continuity and Accounts to name a few.
  • Identify and address all office maintenance issues and ensure sufficient stocks of office and pantry supplies whilst remaining within defined budget guidelines
  • Establish relationships with vendors, monitor vendor performance and negotiate and monitor contracts
  • Responsible for providing executive assistance, managing staff and facilities
  • Assist in implementing various office policies and procedures to meet firm standards.
  • Ensure legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource legislation requirements.
  • Liaise with Immigration Counsel with regards to Visa’s and Immigration.
  • Dealing with correspondence, collating information and writing reports, ensuring decisions made are communicated to the relevant company stakeholders
  • Developing and overseeing the systems that ensure the company complies with all statutory requirements
  • Implement and conduct training in accordance to the Health and Safety and Fire Manuals
  • Assist with any other relevant duties when requested

What they are looking for;

  • 5+ years experience in a similar Legal setting; HR experience would be an added bonus
  • Ability to plan, organise and multitask while juggling conflicting priorities
  • Good legal / financial services understanding and knowledge of corporate procedures
  • Ability to work across several different departments
  • Strong Skills in Microsoft programs including Word, Excel and Outlook
