Senior Consultant - eDiscovery

Description

Our client is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior eDiscovery Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in managing and overseeing eDiscovery processes, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, and utilizing advanced technology solutions to support litigation and investigative matters. 

Salary Range: US$70-80k

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage eDiscovery projects, including data collection, processing, review, and production.
• Provide strategic consulting and technical expertise to legal teams, corporate clients, and government entities.
• Oversee the implementation and use of eDiscovery platforms such as Relativity, Nuix, or other industry-standard tools.
• Advise on best practices for defensible data preservation, collection methodologies, and chain-of-custody documentation.
• Coordinate with IT, legal, and compliance teams to ensure proper governance of electronically stored information (ESI).
• Develop and deliver training sessions and presentations on eDiscovery protocols and technologies.
• Monitor and interpret emerging trends, case law, and regulatory developments in eDiscovery and information governance.
• Assist in developing workflows and standard operating procedures for efficient case management.
• Support forensic investigations and data analysis as needed.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Legal Studies, Information Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in eDiscovery, litigation support, or digital forensics.
• Expertise in industry-leading eDiscovery tools (Relativity, Nuix, Everlaw, etc.) would be a huge plus
• Strong understanding of legal and regulatory frameworks governing eDiscovery, including FRCP and GDPR.
• Experience with data analysis, structured/unstructured data processing, and document review workflows.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
