Senior Technology Consultant
Description
Overview: The Senior Technology Consultant will provide expert advice on best practices for managing and preserving data across various electronically stored information (ESI) and paper sources.
Key Responsibilities:
- Advise clients on effective data management and preservation strategies for a range of information sources.
- Conduct data collection, handling, and analysis.
- Manage all aspects of eDiscovery matters using specialized software, including data processing, early case assessment, review, analysis, and production.
- Continuously develop, review, and update standard operating procedures.
- Provide training and support to team members as needed.
- Assist in the ongoing management of dedicated forensic technology and eDiscovery infrastructure environments.
- Proactively plan and organize workload for multiple active client matters, often adhering to court-imposed deadlines.
- Maintain awareness of risks and ensure high-quality deliverables for clients.
- Participate in business development efforts and marketing initiatives.
- Contribute to the preparation of research documents, proposals, and other materials for client engagement.
- Occasional national and international travel may be required.
Key Skills & Experience:
- A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in forensic technology.
- Proficiency in using eDiscovery software, particularly Relativity.
- Experience in client-facing roles, ideally within a consulting capacity.
- Understanding of the litigation support industry is preferred.
- Experience with digital forensic collection is advantageous.
- Strong oral and written communication skills, as direct interaction with clients is essential.
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations, respond quickly and accurately, and exercise good judgment in escalating issues.
- Highly motivated with excellent task management skills, capable of problem-solving and meeting deadlines.
Qualifications:
- A degree or formal certification in forensic IT, digital forensics, information technology, information security, computer science, law, or a related field is preferred.
