Accounting Manager

Overview
The chosen candidate will report to the Senior Manager of Client Accounting, providing exceptional accounting services to fund, trust, and corporate clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver valuable insights to clients, focusing on private equity and venture capital investments.
  • Ensure excellent customer service is aligned with company core values.
  • Manage a dedicated client portfolio, ensuring exceptional service and high client satisfaction.
  • Coach and mentor accountants and administrators locally and in other offices to foster a supportive growth environment.
  • Review or prepare accounting functions in accordance with procedural guidelines.
  • Prepare financial statements adhering to IFRS or US GAAP standards.
  • Collaborate with internal and external auditors to address queries and validate controls.
  • Oversee wire payments to clients’ banking partners or through approved channels.
  • Maintain current knowledge of relevant legislation, processes, and policies.
  • Suggest process improvements to enhance client experience.
  • Address day-to-day service issues as directed by leadership.
  • Stay updated on AML regulations, IT policy, and GDPR compliance.
  • Complete job assignments promptly.
  • Execute additional duties as assigned by account managers, team leaders, or department heads.

Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A professional accounting qualification (e.g., CPA, ACCA).
  • At least 3 years of post-qualification experience.
  • Proficiency with leading accounting software, such as Allvue and Geneva.
  • Experience with various client types, including Private Equity, Venture Capital, and Hedge Funds.

Salary on offer up to US$85K.
