Chief Executive Officer

SteppingStones is partnered with a leading financial services institution on-island who are looking to bring on a CEO to lead their institution. 

Responsibilities:

• Formulate and execute strategic business initiatives to drive growth.
• Develop and manage the annual Business Plans.
• Facilitate effective communication and reporting across departments to ensure timely access to essential operational data.
• Provide coaching and development opportunities for staff to enhance their skills.
• Oversee and implement training programs for employees.
• Represent the bank at various professional, business, and community events to promote its services.
• Prepare and present operational reports to the Board of Directors.
• Plan, develop, and direct the company’s operations to ensure alignment with financial objectives, growth targets, and compliance with corporate policies and regulations.
• Innovate and launch new financial products and fund structures.
• Seek out speaking opportunities at social groups, clubs, and events to enhance public visibility for both yourself and the bank.
• Undertake additional duties as requested by the Board of Directors.
• Provide support to the Board and shareholders as necessary.
• Contribute to the development of strategic partnerships and bank reorganization efforts.
• Plan, develop, and oversee the bank’s financial functions from all relevant aspects.
• Participate in planning and policy-making committees, including the Executive Committee and the Investment Committee.

  
  
Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Banking, or Finance; MBA preferred.
• Professional finance qualification such as Chartered Accountant, CPA, or CFA.
• A minimum of 10 years in private banking or trust company roles, preferably in senior management.
• At least 5 years of experience in international credit markets.
• In-depth knowledge of structured financing solutions and strong financial/business analysis skills.
• Demonstrated success in business development, performance coaching, and administration within financial or banking services.
• Experience in global or international private banking is a plus.
• Exceptional influencing and negotiation skills.
• Strong credit analysis capabilities with a keen attention to detail.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to thrive in multicultural and international environments.
• Collaborative approach to engage effectively with peers, direct reports, managers, and executive committee members, including the Board of Directors.

Pay range and compensation package– Negotiable and dependent on experience. Our client is open and flexible as they want to make sure they find the right candidate.
