Technical Project Manager

r client is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented IT Project Manager to oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of technology initiatives. The role involves working closely with internal teams, stakeholders, and external vendors to ensure that projects are completed on time, within scope, and on budget. The ideal candidate will combine technical expertise, strong project management skills, and exceptional communication to drive successful project outcomes.
Responsibiliies:
- Develop and manage comprehensive project plans outlining scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and resource requirements.
- Coordinate and lead project kick-offs, ensuring alignment between stakeholders.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies to keep projects on track.
- Manage project budgets, allocate resources efficiently, and track expenditures.
- Act as the primary point of contact for all project-related activities, ensuring clear communication with stakeholders.
- Lead cross-functional teams, resolving issues and maintaining momentum throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure all project scope changes are documented, communicated, and approved as necessary.
- Maintain detailed project documentation, including status reports, project plans, and post-project evaluations.
- Provide regular updates on project progress, key milestones, and any challenges to senior management.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement by applying lessons learned from completed projects.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or ITIL are a plus.
- 5+ years experience as an IT Project Manager,
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, software development lifecycles, and technology implementation.
- Proficiency in project management methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall.
- Excellent organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
