HR Assistant
Description
This role supports the HR team by managing a wide range of administrative tasks, including immigration requirements, employee onboarding and offboarding, and maintaining HR records.
What you’ll do
- Administer and monitor all Immigration requirements, including permit applications and anniversary payments.
- Support new hires through the work permit process, ensuring all documentation is prepared for submission.
- Escalate and address any Immigration issues with Management and liaise with Immigration authorities.
- Assist with recruitment processes, including scheduling interviews and liaising with applicants.
- Manage the HR inbox and respond to employee queries.
- Maintain accurate recruitment and employment records using BambooHR.
- Administer onboarding and offboarding processes, including travel arrangements and benefits enrollment.
- Conduct periodic audits of HR files to ensure compliance.
What you’ll bring
- High School Diploma or pursuing an Associate Degree.
- 1-2 years of experience in an HR administrative role.
- Knowledge of Cayman Islands Immigration and employment laws.
- CISHRP Certificate in HR Management and experience with HRIS (e.g., BambooHR) is a plus.
- Valid Cayman Islands driver’s license.
- High level of confidentiality, strong communication, and organizational skills.
