Part-Time Compliance Officer

Our client, a boutique law firm, is seeking a Compliance Officer to join their team on a part-time basis! 

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that the firm’s operations and policies adhere to all legal and regulatory requirements. This role is ideal for someone with a keen understanding of legal compliance who seeks a flexible, part-time position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and monitor compliance policies and procedures.
  • Conduct regular audits and risk assessments to ensure adherence to regulations.
  • Provide guidance and training to staff on compliance issues and updates.
  • Liaise with regulatory bodies and ensure timely reporting and communication.
  • Review and update the firm’s compliance documentation and practices.
  • Investigate and address any compliance-related issues or breaches.
  • Stay updated on changes in relevant laws and regulations affecting the firm’s operations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business, or a related field
  • Proven experience in a compliance role, ideally within a law firm or corporate environment.
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Proficiency in compliance management software and MS Office Suite.
