Part-Time Compliance Officer

Our client, a boutique law firm, is seeking a Compliance Officer to join their team on a part-time basis!
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that the firm’s operations and policies adhere to all legal and regulatory requirements. This role is ideal for someone with a keen understanding of legal compliance who seeks a flexible, part-time position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and monitor compliance policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular audits and risk assessments to ensure adherence to regulations.
- Provide guidance and training to staff on compliance issues and updates.
- Liaise with regulatory bodies and ensure timely reporting and communication.
- Review and update the firm’s compliance documentation and practices.
- Investigate and address any compliance-related issues or breaches.
- Stay updated on changes in relevant laws and regulations affecting the firm’s operations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business, or a related field
- Proven experience in a compliance role, ideally within a law firm or corporate environment.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and handle confidential information with discretion.
- Proficiency in compliance management software and MS Office Suite.
